CARE Team Homepage

The CARE Team is a process that helps students who are experiencing problems that interfere with learning, such as alcohol or drugs, personal problems, family, and health issues.

Students are connected to existing services so he or she can overcome the problem and be successful in school.

The CARE Team process is the new process for referring students who need intervention to special programs.

bulletTo ensure student achievement and academic success is met for all students
bulletTo ensure a healthy, safe and drug free environment
bulletTo ensure that intervention strategies are working with all students
bulletThe responsibilities of the CARE team are:
bulletTo evaluate information and identify appropriate resources;
bulletTo match needs of student with school and/or community resources;
bulletTo provide the greatest positive impact on the most students; and
bulletMonitor student’s academic and behavior progress and assess any needed changes.
