PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Parents, Students and Friends of Marcy Elementary,

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year. We are excited about this school year and our theme “Discovering New Worlds”. We have a wonderful staff here, with several new teachers this year. The following are our new staff members:

Computer Lab Aide – Tammy Allen

Also, new to the position of Assistant Principal is Rita Faulkner. Rita has 23 years experience as an educator and is excited to be part of the Marvelous Marcy Staff.

We began our year with three successful Parent Involvement Events; “Meet the Teacher”, K-2 Orientation Night, and 3-4 Orientation, and we look forward to more events where our parents and students can celebrate on our campus. We are working to having a successful school year promoting the education of our students while creating some wonderful school memories.

Also, please remember we send out a monthly newsletter about events and happenings on our campus. Please write down the dates of events and join us in PTO activities and other Campus Happenings.
